About That
I'm an amateur researcher and thinker who is curious about how things fit together. Exploring the booming business of narratives– who told the story, why might they tell it, and what would it mean if we believed it? Subjectivity is baked into this epistemological experience, so I'll leave pretending otherwise to the authority figures. We might talk about crimes against humanity or wellness industry advertising. Just remember that I'm a human being doing my best, and that my words will be the result of however much I think I know at the time of writing. I may not cite everything, but feel free to request or fact-check my sources for anything that resembles a truth claim. Nothing here was written by bots. Then again, that's exactly what a bot would say...

You know what they say: don't give money to writers, they're just going to spend it on food and rent. While I value my time and labor as they transform into words, I also occasionally rock up to the collective controlled demolition of the paywalls in our hearts, man. In other words, everything I write is free, but if you want to subsidize my monthly server costs I'd be grateful for the help. Regardless of whether money changes hands, if some of this stuff does something for you, that's enough for me.

You won't find any ideas here with that new car smell. All of the concepts I dance with have been recycled. We're drinking the same water that the dinosaurs drank, ya dig? That said, if you subscribe to my newsletter you'll get something with the word "new" in it, and that'll fire up those dang dopamine neurotransmitters so fast you'll think you've already bought something. Thanks for the conditioning, corporate overlords...

What does it mean? I don't know. Maybe it has to do with feeling seen. Perhaps it's a certain population range. Whatever it looks like here, don't be a stranger. Leave a comment or write to me directly. Let's touch each other's lives, if that's not too weird.
Don't see anything you like? Write it yourself!
Honestly this part is just me messing around with the text in a section from one of Ghost's out-of-the-box templates. The original text is all like, "are we having fun yet? Get your piece of the action by persuading other people to pay you to type, blah blah blah" so I'm here to tell you that you can absolutely rewrite anything that is put in front of you, especially if the initial writing had all the originality of a $10 haircut. It's exhilarating, just try it. We're even on a subscription blogging website called Ghost that provides customizable features for everything from SSL to API.
